At A.C. Lee Construction, we specialize in more than just building homes, we create spaces that improve quality of life. Recently, our team had the honor of completing a custom accessibility deck in Smithfield, NC for a local family facing extraordinary challenges.

When a neighbor’s 16-year-old son was tragically injured in a motorcycle accident that left him paralyzed from the neck down, his family prepared for his return home after a long hospital stay. To ensure his homecoming was safe and comfortable, our crew at A.C. Lee Construction, Inc. built a brand-new deck designed to make his transition easier.

This project was a true community effort. The lumber was generously donated by Meherrin Fertilizer in Smithfield, North Carolina, and additional support came from Trent Tucker and several caring neighbors who gave their time and energy. Together, we created not only a functional outdoor space but also a powerful reminder of the strength of our community.

We are grateful to everyone who stepped in to help this young man and his family during such a difficult time. At A.C. Lee Construction, we believe that construction is about more than projects, it’s about people. Whether it’s custom home building, remodeling, or accessibility upgrades, our goal is always the same: to serve our neighbors with craftsmanship, compassion, and care.
